Our history
In 1904, Dr. Eduard Singer (1866-1949) founded the Singer Studio dental office in Merano.
In 1934, his son Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Federico Singer succeeded him, taking over the practice.
In 1945, after World War II, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Federico Singer (1903-1984) re-opened the practice together with his brother Prof. Dr. Giovanni Singer (1912-1992). At that time, the practice was located a few blocks away in Corso Libertà.
In 1957, the dental surgery moved to its current location at Via Piave 8.
In 1983, Dr. Fritz Singer (1934) and Dr. Benno Singer (1935-1999) took over the practice, after many years of cooperation with their father Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Federico Singer, and ran it until March 1999. At this time, Dr. Guido Singer took the place of his father Dr. Fritz Singer in managing the practice.
During these 100 years of history, it was undoubtedly Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Federico Singer, professor at the University of Bologna dental clinic, who set the standard for the practice with his charisma, professionalism and devotion to work
Thanks to his clear ability and scientific knowledge, the Singer practice became a point of reference for modern dentistry - both at a national and international level - drawing the attention of many patients from the worlds of industry, politics, the aristocracy, sports and show business.
It is due to the professional skills and teaching ability of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Federico Singer that Merano has become an internationally known centre in the field of dentistry and that his students and successors have become such qualified professionals, today just as in the past.
Dr. Guido Singer works alongside many internationally renowned professionals in his odontostomatologic office. He and other team members are involved in teaching activities in Italian universities.
